Loving everything Crest Notch has to offer! Just wish for keyboard shortcuts to manage window tiling.
You made a great app. I love how I can separate work and home spaces, creating a clear distinction between the two. I haven't found anything else bothersome, and I love how you update it regularly.

Best MacBook notch application I've found.
Was first drawn to Crest. I have tried 426 different "notch apps" and Crest is the one I have enjoyed using the best. With the integration into Crest that Minutes and Take has, I have one pane of glass into 3 productivity apps that I use all the time. Zack is responsive and gracious when I bombard him with questions.
Crest primarily got my attention due to its Claude Code integration, Take and Minutes I primarily use for meetings and planning!
I like the aesthetic, I mainly use for media control and AI development. Claude works great in it!

Literally no complaints, great addition to the OS, love how informative and responsive it is. It's great being able to quickly access things, change the current song playing, set productivity timers etc. Great app!

What happens after the 7 days?
You sign up inside Crest, no card, and on day 8 the Pro features pause until you buy. Now Playing, the file shelf, the clipboard and receiving files with Drop keep working, and your saved passwords, two-factor codes and notes stay readable, so you can always copy or export them. Buy, and Pro picks up with your pages, widgets and settings.
Do I need a MacBook with a notch?
No. On any other Mac or display, Crest sits in a small pill at the top of the screen: hover it for the peek, click it for the same panel.
What are Drop’s limits?
Without Cloud, Crest Pro sends files up to 2 GB, 20 GB a month, and the 7-day trial sends files up to 100 MB, 500 MB in all. A friend’s file waits 7 days for you to save it, a link works for 1 hour after the upload ends, and receiving is free. We delete a sent file from our server after 7 days, unless you save it to Crest Cloud, where files go up to 20 GB and links last up to 30 days.
What comes with Passwords?
One vault for passwords and two-factor codes, opened with Touch ID or your Mac’s password, so there’s no master password. A password check lists breached passwords first, then reused, weak and old ones, each with its one fix, and breach checks never send a password. Import from Apple Passwords, 1Password or Bitwarden, read on this Mac. Passkeys stay in Apple Passwords for now. Both work in Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave and Edge.
Which coding agents does it answer?
Claude Code, Codex and Copilot CLI. Approvals and questions open under the notch with the whole command on them, and the agent carries on when you answer.
What leaves my Mac?
Widgets run on your Mac. Drop files are encrypted on your Mac before they leave it, and a link’s page decrypts them in the browser, so our server never reads them. Crest goes online to sign you in, check your licence and look for updates, and the anonymous install count it sends can be turned off in Settings.
Will it eat my battery?
No. Crest pauses its animations in Low Power Mode and sleeps its monitors when your Mac sleeps.
Can I install it with Homebrew?
Yes. Crest is in the official Homebrew cask: brew install --cask crest in Terminal. After that it updates itself.
