Set up Crest Cloud
Need a file from your other Mac and it’s sitting on the wrong desk? Crest Cloud keeps files from your notch, encrypted on your Mac, and gives them back on any Mac signed in to your account. Our server sees sizes and dates, never names.
Set it up
- Sign in. Crest Cloud keeps files for your Crest account, so sign in to Crest first. Then open the notch and click the Cloud widget.
- Try it or pick a plan. The free try gives you 5 GB for 7 days. To buy, press See plans… on the Cloud screen and pick a size, or use the plans on our site. Every plan has all 3 apps: Crest, Take and Minutes.
- Keep your first file. Drop files or a folder anywhere on the Cloud screen. The first time, Crest makes your Cloud key on this Mac and shows your recovery key. Write it down or save it somewhere safe: it opens your files when no Mac of yours is around.
- Get files back. Press Get back on a row. The file goes to Downloads, every part checked. On another Mac, sign in, then approve it from a Mac that has your Cloud key, or use your recovery key.
- Share a link. Press Share a link on the file’s row in Cloud. A link lasts up to your plan’s limit below.
